Fun for the whole family!

Guests Hal Ellms & Trey Martin will share how Stowe's outdoors and recreation economy connect to initiatives across the state and region.

Kids program for ages 5+ during the business meeting from 2-3 pm and family-friendly activities for all ages to follow.

Community, Conservation & Connections!

Join us for a celebration of 31 years of conservation in our community Saturday, September 22nd (2-5 pm) at the Moscow Recreation Field in Stowe. Participate in the business meeting, and then mingle with friends & neighbors, or play a game of volleyball on the new sand court! Many of our partners will be set up with family-friendly & interesting activities on the field for you to explore. RSVP here -->


Schedule of Events

2:00 - 3:00 pm     Business Meeting and Guest Speakers*

3:00 - 5:00 pm     Activities (see below), Cash Bar, Ice Cream by I.C. Scoops & Pizza by Woodbelly

*There will be children's programs (ages 5+) provided by the Market Garden School and the Green Mountain Audubon Center during the business portion of the event from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. You must be a member to vote during the business meeting.

Guest Speakers: Trey Martin & Hal Ellms

Connecting Stowe’s Outdoors & Recreation Economy to the Big Picture

Trey and Hal are both partners in SLT’s newest land protection effort - <link current>Hunger Mountain Headwaters - and passionate advocates for keeping Vermont’s special outdoor spaces intact and accessible. Trey is an advisory board member for The Trust for Public Land and spent five years working in the administration of former Governor Peter Shumlin including serving as deputy secretary for the Agency of Natural Resources. Hal is owner of Pinnacle Outdoor Group, a Middlesex-based rep for important outdoor brands such as Darn Tough. Trey and Hal also both serve on the Governor’s Vermont Outdoor Recreation Economic Collaborative (VOREC) steering committee.
