Mayo Farm
Please help us improve water quality on the Mayo Farm! Bring the whole family to help plant native trees & shrubs along a stream. The Stowe Conservation Commission is partnering with the Intervale Conservation Nursery, Stowe Land Trust, and Keurig Green Mountain to plant trees and shrubs in the buffer along a tributary of the West Branch that runs through Mayo Farm.
The planting will start at 9:00 am and wrap up by 3:00 pm or when all 300 trees are in the ground - whichever comes first! Park at the Quiet Path parking area on Cemetery Rd. The planting site is located along the Quiet Path next to Mayo Farm Road. See this map for the location: http://bit.ly/1F7CtEw. Wear sturdy footwear, and bring gloves, a hat, a water bottle and a shovel if you have one. Snacks will be provided by Commodities Natural Market!
