DuMont Tree Planting

Sunday, May 2nd
2-5 pm
DuMont Meadow

Help Stowe Land Trust plant additional trees in a riparian planting along the Little River at DuMont Meadow. This work continues an effort started in 2016 to remove invasive species on the property and restore the meadow to it's natural state.

Shovels and gloves will be provided. Feel free to bring your own work gloves (or shovel) if you have a favorite pair. Please also bring water, snacks, and clothing so that you'll be comfortable outside for a few hours. This event will be held rain or shine.

We will meet at the parking lot for DuMont Meadow at 2 pm on Sunday, May 2nd. The parking lot is off the end of Adams Mill Road in Stowe. Follow Adams Mill Road to the end. Continue straight up what looks like a driveway and bear left down a dirt track before reaching the last house. The parking lot is 100' ahead. More information about DuMont Meadow and directions to Adams Mill Road can be found here

You will be required to wear a mask and practice proper social distancing. Please only attend the event if you are feeling healthy and have met all VT travel restriction guidelines. Thank you for helping to keep our community safe!

Please email Elisabeth with any questions and to let her know you'll be there!
