Making Paint from Nature

Come learn about the history of the Mill Trail and participate in fun outdoor activities! This month we will be painting, or dyeing, with some naturally derived paints made from plants. Come join us to learn how to make vibrant dyes to paint with right at home!  

These events are free, family friendly, and led by SLT’s Summer Naturalist, Ryan. These events will be taking place on the last Saturday of the month until Fall. We hope to see you there! 

When: July 31st | 12 - 2 P.M.

Where: The Mill Trail Property on Notchbrook Road in Stowe

Directions: From the intersection of Route 100 and Route 108 in Stowe village, head north on Route 108 for 5.1 miles. Turn right on Notchbrook Road and drive .6 miles to a small pull-off on the left where there is limited parking available.

  • Stay home if you are feeling sick. Please contact SLT if you develop COVID-like symptoms within 14 days after the program. 
  • Have a mask with you. Wear it if you cannot keep 6’ of space between you and others.
  • Follow all safety guidelines explained by SLT staff.
