We have been fortunate to have had Jed Lipsky as a member of the Stowe Land Trust Board of Directors for the last nine years.
Jed joined the Board in 2012 just as the organization was embarking upon its largest conversation project to-date: Cady Hill Forest. Jed’s experience and knowledge in land use planning, forestry and his common sense made him an invaluable addition to SLT.
Jed's 40 years of experience as a professional logger was especially appreciated during the extensive clean-up efforts in Cady Hill Forest after the October 30, 2017 windstorm to get the trails cleared, repaired, and back open to the public.
