Stowe Land Trust is pleased to welcome Meredith Naughton as our new Conservation Program Manager! This position oversees our conservation easement monitoring and stewardship program, and assists in land protection projects. Meredith will also work closely with our dedicated volunteer corps on the ongoing care of SLT's fee lands
Meredith is a graduate of the Field Naturalist & Ecological Planning Program at the University of Vermont and brings a decade of experience working with Vermont’s natural resources to the role. As part of her graduate work, she partnered with the Vermont Departments of Fish & Wildlife, and Forests, Parks, & Recreation, analyzing the effect trail recreation has on wildlife—experience we’re excited to learn from! In addition to her MS from UVM, Meredith holds a BS in Biology from Earlham College.
Meredith enjoys spending time outside—running, biking, botanizing, birding, and fishing. When not in nature, she can be found surrounded by a project, making and fixing things, or lost in a book.
