In December, Kelly Murphey and Rachel Fussell purchased the 72-acre SLT-conserved Burham Farm in Stowe Hollow from Paul Yaphe. Rachel works for the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont, Kelly is a local builder and woodworker, and both are avid outdoor enthusiasts. They are looking forward to making the Burnham Farm their home and “revitalizing this magnificent property into a fully functioning farmstead." They have told us that they “are honored to be the new stewards of such a historically rich and ecologically diverse Stowe farm,” and we are very pleased to welcome them to the SLT community.
