For Land Seekers
Buying Conserved Land
Are you interested in purchasing land protected with a Stowe Land Trust conservation easement? We can help you understand the terms of the easement and how we work with landowners to ensure the terms are upheld. Please contact us today.
Accessing Farmland
If you are a farmer interested in accessing conserved farmland in the Stowe area, we can help connect you with landowners who own property that could be a good match with your needs. We also recommend you check out the Vermont Land Trust’s Farmland Access Program and Vermont Land Link, or the New England Farmers of Color Land Trust if you are a BIPOC land steward.
Interested in gardening on conserved land? You can rent a plot in the Stowe Community Gardens at Mayo Farm. Contact Stowe, Parks & Recreation to learn more.
Finding Housing
We don’t create housing. But we do know that land and housing go together, and we support the efforts of those in our community who do build and manage safe and dignified affordable housing. To learn more about affordable housing options in our area, contact the Lamoille Housing Partnership or Lamoille County Habitat for Humanity.
