The Vermont Housing and Conservation Coalition (VHCC) Legislative Day is the day for housing and conservation supporters to champion the projects and values supported by Vermont Housing and Conservation Board (VHCB) funding. Stowe Land Trust is a member of VHCC, and has received VHCB funding for 11 conservation projects here in Stowe including Cady Hill Forest, Nichols Field, Pinnacle Meadow, and most recently, Brownsville-Story Ridge Forest.
The VHCC Legislative day gives legislators the opportunity to hear from you, Vermonters doing and supporting the work on the ground, about how VHCB-funded projects are helping solve some of Vermont’s most pressing issues. This year we are pushing for full statutory funding for VHCB and we would love to see you at the State House in support of conservation in the state of Vermont.
Please join us at the State House on Thursday, January 30th to deliver the message that it is important to continue funding VHCB.
